Pete designed storage bags for the outdoors equipment, open at the bottom, and fastened with Velcro at the top, allowed humidity to escape from the bag and wires to stay attached to the beltpacks.  Here's one after our first snow storm. The stage and skating ramps surrounded a seating area for the athletes. Here are the olympic rings in the performing stage position.  There were no platforms, the performers climbed and hung from the rings.
